Whoever said a vehicle cannot combine luxury and power was not referring to the 2024 BMW 5 Series at BMW of Wilmington. The midsize luxury sedan comes with a couple of engine options, which make it a performance monster.

The 2024 BMW 530i trim gets power from a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 255 horsepower. Drivers who select the 540i trim will enjoy 375 horsepower courtesy of a turbocharged inline-six powerhouse. Both powertrains work in tandem with a 48-volt mild hybrid system and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The plug-in hybrid 550e trim receives motivation from a PHEV powertrain comprising an inline-six engine and a single motor. This configuration kicks out 335 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque when attached to the rear-wheel drive in the i5 eDrive40 trim. It develops a staggering 590 horsepower and 586 pound-feet of torque when using an all-wheel drive in the i5 M60 xDrive trim.
